The Little Cottage is an addition to an existing residence in Eagle Harbor on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The existing house was built based on the New England Saltbox so the 760 SF addition follows with a few more contemporary elements throughout. With the extraordinary views the site provides of Lake Superior, the lakeside elevation takes advantage with large windows across most of the elevation. The addition is connected to the main house with a covered trellis which serves a dual function of both a fantastic outdoor covered area for outdoor dining and separate covered entrance.
